Repository Policy

The Journal of Quixotic Narrative and Critical Review encourages the broad dissemination and accessibility of scholarly work. Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, or general-purpose repositories, in accordance with the journal’s open access and licensing policies.

1. Preprint Policy

  • Authors may deposit preprint versions (i.e., versions prior to peer review) in any repository or on personal websites.
  • Preprints should include a clear statement that the manuscript has not yet been peer-reviewed or accepted for publication.

2. Postprint Policy

  • Authors may archive postprint versions (i.e., the accepted manuscript after peer review but before final formatting) in institutional or disciplinary repositories.
  • A citation to the final published version in this journal must be included.

3. Published Version

  • Authors are permitted to deposit the final published version (Version of Record) in:
    • Institutional repositories
    • Personal or departmental websites
    • Research-sharing platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
    • National or international open access repositories (Garuda, internet repository)

All deposited versions must include:

  • A full citation to the original publication in this journal
  • A link to the official published version (DOI)
  • A statement of the license:
    “This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).”
