The Journal of Quixotic Narrative and Critical Review is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial integrity, transparency, and academic rigor. The following editorial policies guide our publication process and ensure fairness, quality, and ethical compliance.
The editorial team operates independently of any institutional, commercial, or political influence. All editorial decisions are based solely on the academic merit, originality, and relevance of the submitted work.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other to ensure impartiality. Each submission is evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers based on its scholarly quality, clarity, originality, and contribution to interdisciplinary knowledge.
Final decisions on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection are made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the editorial board, based on reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s scope and standards.
All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff are prohibited from disclosing any information about a manuscript to anyone other than those directly involved in the review and publication process.
Editors and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where such conflicts exist. Authors are also required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work.
The journal is committed to correcting errors and addressing ethical concerns. If a published article is found to contain significant errors or ethical violations, it may be corrected, retracted, or removed in accordance with COPE guidelines.
Authors may appeal editorial decisions or raise concerns about the review process by contacting the editorial office. All appeals will be reviewed fairly and transparently by the editorial board.
The journal adheres to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process are expected to uphold these standards.
