Participation Charge

Journal of Aceh Studies (JOAS) does not charge fees for any submission. Authors ARE NOT REQUIRED to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process (IDR. 000.000.00,-).

 

FREE The Article Processing Charges (APC) for:

1. Articles related to Aceh (if your article is related to Aceh)

2. International authors (if all, some or any of the authors of your article are not from Indonesia)

 

The Article Processing Charges (APC) for web maintenance and editing operations. We had to do this financing because we lacked resources for management.

The JOAS only charges the author a symbolic participation charge for manuscripts accepted for publication. After going through all the processes, and if the manuscript is Accepted for Publication, the Article Processing Charges (APC) for Indonesian authors is USD. 10.00 (ten American dollars), check the exchange rate here. & APCs for international authors is USD 000.00 (free). Authors are required to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs) as a part of the publication process. Please follow the instructions for payment after you receive the acceptance letter.

Payment can be made through bank transfer (for Indonesian authors) and WISE (for international authors)

Note: Indonesian authors MUST NOT make the transfer using WISE. If this cannot be avoided, the APC to be transferred should be in the same amount as that of international authors. WISE charges the journal for each incoming transfer, and it also charges a fee for transfers to the journal bank account.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work. The author should declare that he/she asks for a waiver in the comments to the Editor box during their submission.

Journal subscription is open to any individual without any subscription charges. All published manuscripts will be available for viewing and download from the journal's website for free and Open Access.
